Urban Umbrella is a team of designers that came out with a solution for the old problem of urban scaffolding. "On the walk to work, on coffee breaks, New Yorkers are make their way through these dark ugly structures. There is a lot of opportunity to affect the quality of peoples lives' in this project", says Andres Cortes, from Urban Umbrella. Cactus3D creates photomontages using real photos from the final locations, and using matte painting the scaffolding model is placed and blended on top of them, thus showing the final result of using Urban Umbrella's services.
